Hurricane Helene Relief Project

Hurricane Helene Relief Project

The Hickory Corners and Community Fire Company along with K. Eckert Transport, LLC. are sponsoring a relief project to help those so horribly affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS NEED YOUR HELP.

Here’s what YOU can do:

WHAT: Supplies that are needed include cleaning products (especially bleach), pain relievers (Tylenol, Motrin, etc.), wound care supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, rubber or latex gloves, N95 masks (for mold removal), blankets, pillows, hygiene products, formula, diapers, baby wipes, can openers, canned or non-perishable foods, laundry detergent, dish soap, comfort items for children.

HOW: Drop off your donations – we will fill a tractor trailer which will be driven by the good folks at K. Eckert Transport, LLC. to a location near Asheville, NC. The items will be distributed directly to those in need.

WHEN: Monday, October 7 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM and Tuesday, October 8 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. The truck will be leaving at 9:00PM on Tuesday.

WHERE: The back parking lot of the Hickory Corners & Community Fire Company, located at 1124 Hickory Road in Dalmatia, PA.

PLEASE contribute all that you can. We will be posting more information directly from those in need over the next 24 hours.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Kevin and K. Eckert Transport, LLC. of Lititz, PA for volunteering to get these much needed supplies directly to where they need to be.
